2016 Fashion Resolutions

It always blows my mind just how fast each year goes by, and it’s crazy to think that 2016 is just a few weeks away.

In addition to cleaning out and organizing my atrocious closet in 2016, I hope to make some fashion resolutions as well. 2016 means a new year of new ways to express myself through fashion! Overall, I’m trying to become a more confident girl in 2016, and I think the way I dress can help me with that. With the help of farfetch.com , I could create these resolutions, and great looks to go with them!

Farfetch is an amazing and beautiful website where you can shop from the greatest designers all on one website!

So, here are my five 2016 fashion resolutions:

#1 SHINE ON THE OUTSIDE

This year, I’m really trying to work on my confidence, in school, at work, or just out in everyday life. I aspire to do this by taking risks in talking to more people, taking advantage of the many opportunities that come my way, and by making my outfits something that allows me to truly “shine on the outside” so I can feel like I can shine on the inside as well.

Metallics are sure to be big in 2016, so by incorporating them into my daily looks, I’m sure to stand out and display my confidence.

Incorporating metallics into your every day looks is a way to make you stand out among the crowd. They can be paired with something simple, such as the outfit I created in the middle, or for a fancier event such as the outfits on either side.

Gold pencil skirt // Pleated black top // Silver and Navy Skirt // Lace-up Metallic Sandals

#2 DARE TO GO BOLD: What better way to display my newly developing confidence than by wearing some bolder prints? By adding pieces like this to my closet, I am sure to turn heads anywhere I go.

Boldly printed pieces are surely another way to stand out among the crowd, and by pairing them with bold shoes or accessories, such as those red shoes in the third outfit, it created a perfect blend of

#3 EMBRACE THE LACE

I have never been a huge fan of lace, but with the right pieces and the right pairings, I have found that it is a perfect way to display elegance and class. By incorporating lace into my every day outfits, I hope to make myself feel more elegant and professional, so (hopefully) I can display that on the outside.

Lace is another trend sure to be big in 2016. Show of the lace (and a little extra skin) with some of these pieces!!

#4 STRUT THE SHOES

My closet is currently lacking some shoe essentials, since it is basically half -filled with the same four pairs of shoes that I wear on a rotation. My expanding my horizons with shoes, hopefully I can grow out of my old and worn out habits and routines in order to create some new ones!

I don’t think anything can make a girl happier than some new shoes. By adding some of these to my wardrobe, they are sure to enhance any outfit.

I like the look of metallics, it definitely conveys a sense of confidence! That’s something I want to work on as well, shining on the outside 🙂
I also have a small variety of shoes. I have a bunch that I can’t wear on a daily basis because of the amount of walking I do everyday. Which limits me to only a few. I definitely want to expand my shoe collection as well!
    great resolutions 🙂

These are great! Maybe I’ll steal a page of your book and be bolder with my style. For sure, my resolution is to clean out my closet and let go of certain pieces I never wear.
